Past Life Regression Therapy is a form of therapy involving the exploration and understanding of past life activities and decisions. It is used by people who want to recall their past lives on a physical, mental and spiritual level. Hypnotherapy is a mind-body intervention in which hypnosis is used to create a state of trance or focused attention. In this state of focused attention it helps people to respond more readily to suggestions and become deeply relaxed.
We naturally utilize this hypnotic state in our everyday lives, for example when falling asleep or waking up and when a person finds is engrossed in a book or movie and any background stimuli is ignored.
It is important to understand that hypnosis is not sleep and people are still able to analyze and think whilst in this altered state of awareness.
Margaret will begin a session with a brief history taking to understand more about the challenges that a person is dealing with.
You are then guided through a series of techniques designed to produce a deeply relaxed state. Once you have entered this deeply relaxed state the therapist will ask for several responses to questions and make suggestions directly to your subconscious to bring about the desired result.
Under hypnosis you are totally aware at every stage and can accept or reject any suggestions made by the therapist.
At the end of the session you are then gently brought back to full awareness and a follow up discussion which will allow you to debrief.
